Position Summary:In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the production of resins and other chemicals while supporting multiple strategic teams. This position encompasses environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management, production oversight, quality control, continuous improvement initiatives, maintenance and engineering coordination, as well as receiving and shipping operations. Additionally, you will help lead the successful implementation of key projects and plays a vital role in the leadership team at the manufacturing plant.The Senior Production Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality management tools to streamline production processes, improve product quality, and reduce costs.
• Maintain clear communication with all support functions to ensure alignment with production objectives.
• Lead the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a strong safety culture.
• Engage and develop team members to boost performance and enhance capabilities.
• Establish and lead teams dedicated to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with the supply chain department on inventory management, logistics, and procurement for resin operations.The Senior Production Manager should have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or other related fields preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of industrial management experience, preferably in resin or chemical manufacturing.
  • Knowledgeable in Lean Six Sigma (Black or Green Belt preferred).
  • Strong project management skills.
