Key Responsibilities

Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations
Communicate with physician practices to gather necessary documentation for coding
Participate in ICD-10 readiness initiatives


Required Qualifications and Education

High school diploma or GED
Three to five years of multi-specialty coding experience
Current AHIMA or AAPC Coding Certification(s) CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or COC
Ability to code high severity and complex cases
