A company is looking for a COBOL Application Developer for a remote contract position.



Key Responsibilities

Analyze complex business systems code using COBOL, VSAM, JCL, and other related tools
Write and tune complex SQL and PL/SQL queries in a DB2 environment
Lead and mentor developers on various development projects


Required Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in Mainframe DB2, COBOL, and VSAM software development
A four-year degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field is preferred
If no degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools
