Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in operating blending, pumping, milling, and packing machines, as well as managing material handling tasks such as forklift operation, loading, and unloading. This is a hands-on, physically engaging role in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate blending, pumping, milling, and packing machinery.
- Accurately document information such as weights, label numbers, and shipping details on tablets and paper.
- Handle raw materials and finished products using a sit-down forklift.
- Perform manual material handling tasks, including lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Manage the bagging and tote area for finished products.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
- Climb ladders and stairs as required for ingredient mixing.
Requirements
- Prior experience with tow motor or forklift operations.
- Comfortable working in dusty, dirty environments and with various smells.
- Strong physical endurance, including the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Basic math, reading, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent team collaboration and self-motivation.
- Safety gear required: steel-toe boots and safety glasses. Masks are provided where necessary.
