A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel to join their team as the first in-house legal hire.



Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of contract creation, review, negotiation, and execution
Establish and maintain legal processes for contract lifecycle management and corporate governance
Provide general legal guidance and support across various business functions and advise on risk mitigation strategies


Required Qualifications

At least 4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at a startup or high-growth company
Strong experience in contract law, with a focus on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active Bar License
Prior experience as the first legal hire at a company is highly preferred More...
