Overview:Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTALocation: Shawnee, OK (Pottawatomie County Schools)Schedule: Part-time, 2-3 days/week during school hours.Compensation: $29.00-$32.00/hour (pending experience)Our outpatient pediatric center in Shawnee, OK is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care. This is a school-based position 2-3 days per week. Previous pediatric occupational therapy/school-based therapy is preferred.Responsibilities:Detail-Oriented: Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.Education: Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.High Standard of Care: Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policiesPersonalized Treatment: Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients' functional abilities and skills.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) programState COTA license (or license eligible)CPR certificationValid state driver's licenseAdditional Data:Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
