Responsibilities
- Operate the CT scanner safely and proficiently -
- Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning
- Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow
- Transport patients to and from the department
- Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital personnel
- Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system
Qualifications
Technical or Associate's radiography degree -Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT - If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment
- Active BLS certification Preferred
