Job Title: RN Med Surg Job Specialty: EMC Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12 Hr Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week Experience: 1 year of experience License: Current RN License issued by the State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Certifications: Current Basic Life Support and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association Must-Have: Patient Care experience, RN License, ACLS Job Description: - Provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision. - Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. - Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in physician order on assigned patients. - Assists physicians in the examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. - Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, observes the physiological manifestations of patients, and intervenes when necessary. - Administers medication as prescribed.
