Key Responsibilities:

Provide diabetes education support to patients to improve adherence and health outcomes
Establish rapport and therapeutic alliances with patients via phone
Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote behavior change among patients


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

Current certification as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist from NCBDE
Fluency in Spanish
Experience using motivational interviewing for behavior change
Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently
