We are seeking an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer to work in our La Grande, OR office - a fun and vibrant rural community! While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this position may include: - Plan, design and implement critical community infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, roadways, stormwater, public parks, and general civil engineering.
- Play key roles in all phases of project planning, design, and construction management.
- Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions.
- Partner with senior engineers and project managers for reporting, design, and construction phase services to enhance public infrastructure.
- Collaborate with government agencies for permits, crossing agreements, easements, encroachments, and other necessary requirements.
- Facilitate public meetings, public forums, and open houses to discuss project details and answer questions from the public.
- Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies.
- Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft Excel, WaterCAD, ArcGIS Pro, and InfoSWMM.
- Project management including oversight of budget, design team, schedule, and coordination of deliverables and milestones with clients. Requirements:
- 0-8 years of experience with EI or PE licensure in Oregon State or able to obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Experience with Bentley and AutoCAD software platforms is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of co-workers and teams.Compensation: $70,000 - $125,000 annually, determined by experience.
