A company is looking for a Principal Transmission Line Engineer to support and lead transmission and distribution projects.



Key Responsibilities

Design and coordinate High Voltage (69kV-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD software
Act as the primary client-facing Subject Matter Expert (SME) and manage project scopes and requirements
Mentor junior engineers and assist with proposal bids while ensuring quality control of final deliverables


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school; Master's preferred
Minimum of 20 years of relevant transmission line engineering experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; licensure in multiple states preferred
Expert knowledge in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE, with the ability to train others
Previous experience working with or for a Utility is required More...
