About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Assistant Banquet Manager to join our team at Ashland Hills FB, AHRES. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Banquet Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our banquet department. This includes ensuring that all events are executed flawlessly, managing staff, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Assistant Banquet Manager will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.Minimum Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in a banquet or event management role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 poundsPreferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience with event planning software
- Experience managing a team of staff membersResponsibilities:
- Assist the Banquet Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the banquet department
- Ensure that all events are executed flawlessly and to the highest standards
- Manage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
