(HTA) products.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Hands-on development and write algorithms in machine learning, statistical modelling, neural nets, and pattern recognition from data exploration.
- Hands-on experience in Python including major data science packages.
- Analyze data collection results, perform model-based designing and building.
- Interact with different groups of service engineers to understand pain points, data collection, and to develop products related to Machine Learning.
- Research and resolve complex software and system problems.
- Design and simplify user interfaces and document them.
- Create architectures and complex designs independently and document them.
- Integrate and test software to confirm compliance with specifications.
- Develop functional specifications.
- Find and fix complex errors in the software.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews of peers, and test reviews.
- Perform functional tests.EDUCATION, LICENSES, and/or CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Master of Science degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar quantitative field.EXPERIENCE and TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have at least 5+ years of practical experience in writing algorithms in Machine Learning, Statistical Modelling, Neural Nets, and Pattern Recognition from data exploration.
- Must have 5+ years of hands-on programming experience in Python including major data science packages such as Pandas, Numpy, SKlearn, Keras, Matplotlib, and related technologies.
- Experience with system performance evaluation.
- Experience using a central software repository system for effective collaboration with distributed teams.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate challenging or technical concepts.
- Full software development lifecycle experience, comfortable working using Agile as well as iterative methodologies.
- Experience with Test-driven development using tools to spot performance issues and memory leaks.
