About the RoleSCA Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Inpatient to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient's status at intervals to include cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, hemodynamic stability, pain and comfort needs, and mental status.
• Interpret information accurately from various noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Develop an individualized plan of care and implement it by protecting patient from injury, demonstrating safe operation of equipment, and speaking up with safety concerns.
• Communicate the patient's current status throughout the continuum of care and provide acute pain and comfort management as needed.
• Administer medications safely and correctly and provide nursing and appropriate monitoring in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Perform interventions to protect the patient from infection and maintain the integrity of the patient's wound and tissue perfusion at or above baseline levels.
• Manage patient's other co-morbid conditions as applicable and manage patient's fluid as prescribed.
• Evaluate the patient's progress toward attaining outcomes and transfer care as needed.Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • One year of acute care and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
  • Current state licensure to practice within good standings.
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification.
  • Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
  • Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.CompensationMinimum: USD $27.00/HrMaximum: USD $36.00/Hr More...
