Business Unit/Department: Engineering Location: Lawrence, PA Job Summary: As the Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and supporting low voltage electrical systems for industrial applications, with a focus on the oil & gas and chemical industries. This role includes overseeing commissioning and providing post-startup support for engineering designs. As a Senior Engineer, you will also mentor and support junior engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality project outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Apply your expertise in NFPA codes, NEC, and industry standards to exceed customer expectations for oil & gas and chemical applications Lead the design of grounding, heat trace, lighting, panel layouts, and create single-line and three-line diagrams for low voltage systems Optimize infrastructure by accurately sizing cable trays and conduits Oversee commissioning and provide seamless post-startup support to bring engineering designs to life Deliver exceptional support for customer contracts, including 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance, ensuring reliable and continuous operation The Ideal Candidate: Holds a BSEE with 7+ years of relevant experience Skilled in designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment, components, and systems Possesses a solid understanding of process control fundamentals. Applies mathematical and engineering principles to electrical system designs. Conducts research to develop effective design solutions and continuous improvements. Demonstrates expertise across a range of industry concepts, practices, and procedures, providing guidance to junior engineers Ppossesses strong communication skills and excels in customer interactions.
