We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. - In this role, the Senior Systems Test Engineer (Operations and Maintenance Engineer) will execute multiple aspects of the Operations and Maintenance discipline to keep the system running and up to date. - This role can be located in either State College, Pennsylvania OR Dulles, Virginia. - What You Will Do - Work with a small team of 4-8 to maintain several instances of a system including production and test systems including working Operations and Maintenance of a software-based system in a DevSecOps environment.
- Be responsible for investigating issues and anomalies which may include creating or modifying scripts and examining the code baselines. - Logging defect reports and enhancement requests.
- Monitor production and test systems, update production and test systems, troubleshoot issues, log defects and implement temporary workarounds, and engage with end users and stakeholders.
- Communicate and present complex technical issues across various audiences including customers, executives, program management, and individual contributors
- Aid in root cause analysis of issues and anomalies as encountered and document, communicate impact, and ensure resolutions are implemented and verified
- 365/24/7 support is required through shared team resources
- Qualifications You Must Have: - Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with agile development activities, including requirements specification and integration test and verification activities (full life-cycle)
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with SSBI Poly security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. - Obtain and maintain access as required by program.
- CompTIA Security+ certification within 90 days of start Qualification We Prefer:
- SIGINT, GEOINT, or Multi-INT Intelligence Community (IC) background with end user mission experience -
- Experience with cloud-based S/W architectures, systems and security, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, PKI authentication
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash and Python
- The ability to multi-task, adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, effectively network, and communicate to the relevant stakeholders.
