Summary

The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, or adults, depending on the program's focus, using evidence-based practices for addiction, substance use disorders, mental health diagnoses, and other areas as specified by program requirements. Responsibilities include performing initial assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering individual and group counseling, and collaborating with program staff to connect clients with additional services and resources as needed.

Essential Duties and Functions

Therapy

---Conduct intake assessments and recommend appropriate treatment plans.

---Provide individual, group, and family therapy for clients with mental health and substance use needs.

Caseload Management

---Maintain an active caseload, ensuring regular engagement in ongoing treatment.

---Track treatment plans and necessary documentation to meet funder guidelines and program objectives.

---Participate in clinical meetings focused on treatment goals, progress, and discharge planning as needed.

Administrative

---Document client interactions and updates in electronic medical records per agency standards.

Qualifications

---Master's degree in a human services field preferred; Bachelor's degree required.

---Minimum of two years of direct therapy experience in mental health, substance use, or intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

---Proficiency in business software and electronic health records systems.

---ACT 33/34 clearances and FBI clearance as required by the program.

Shift: 8a-4p M-F
