- Serve as a Senior Engineer within the Power Electronics Department based in our Applied Chiller group in New Freedom, PA! Candidates must be commuting distance, or open to relocation.
- Responsible to design, test, and maintain power electronics products and systems for Johnson Controls' chiller applications.
- Determine the best techniques, procedures and/or theories as they apply to the development of power electronics products and systems.--
- Create compliance procedures for the development of electrical/electronic circuitry designs.--
- Define and interpret design specifications; design electrical/electronic circuitry to meet specified requirements; and analyzes product design requirements and recommend solutions.--
- Prepare and coordinates the release of documentation to support component design and manufacturing.--
- Participate in all aspects of preliminary design and systems architecture, and conducts analysis of the cost impacts of proposed modifications, upgrades, and new implementations of application software.--
- Conduct feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications or major modifications of existing systems.--
- Work with other engineers, designers, and technicians on specific work assignments.
- Forecast and schedule work activities, and defines processes for repetitive tasks.
- Act as the technical lead for troubleshooting field and factory issues on the range of power electronics products and systems on Johnson Controls' chillers.
- Travel to visit customers, Johnson Controls' factories, vendors, and/or professional conferences as business needs How you will do it

- Ability to travel 10% of their time domestic or international What we look for Required
- Master degree on Electrical Engineering with specialization on Power Electronics
- Minimum 7+ years of industry experience in the field of power electronics or electrical engineering Preferred
