About the facility A facility is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage. About the clinician's workday This position will be a three-month assignment, with the option to extend. The clinician is expected to handle typical cases such as ADHD, schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, with flexible 8-hour shifts (10-6, 8-4, 9-5) based on the provider's preference. Responsibilities include initial evaluations (1.5 hours face-to-face with new patients) and medication checks (30 minutes on average). The EMR system used is Evolve. Credentialing usually takes about a month, depending on the provider's recent Child Abuse and FBI clearance status. Additional job details - Case load/PPD: 10-15 PPD
