Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below. We are looking for full-time Emergency Veterinary Technician Caregivers to join our team on overnights. If you're looking to advance your skill set and work in a fast-paced environment where every day looks different, we want to work with you!Avets operates as a whole hospital team, offering opportunities to train and work with both specialty and emergency veterinarians. We pair new hires with a mentor to guide them through their introductory period. This is a full-time, hourly position, working either 3 twelve hour shifts or 4 ten hour shifts per week, inclusive of one shift per weekend and a portion of the holidays. -Compensation: - Hourly pay is dependent on experience and will be discussed further during interview process.
- Shift differentials available!
- $2/hr after 6pm on weekdays and weekend day shift
- $3.50/hr after 6pm on Friday and SaturdayWe are happy to provide our team members with:

- Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients in a manner that supports Avets' mission to provide state of the art medicine and compassionate care for pets and the people who love them.
- Work with fellow team members to maintain a productive, positive and respectful environment. All technical staff, regardless of the level of experience, must be able to stand, bend, lift, and/or kneel for the duration of a shift (12 hours), and lift a minimum of twenty five pounds.Prior emergency experience preferred, but not required. Certified Veterinary Technicians or license eligible candidates will be given the highest consideration.
