PennState Health is seeking a per diem / prn MRI Technologist for a per diem / prn job in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing Up to 40.00 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings, flexible Employment Type: Per Diem SUMMARY OF POSITION: Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners. Monitor patient safety and comfort, and view images of the area being scanned to ensure quality of pictures. May interview patient, explain MRI procedures, and position patient on examining table. May enter into the computer data such as patient history, anatomical area to be scanned, orientation specified, and position of entry. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) : Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) and registered or registry eligible in MRI.
