You will gain a comprehensive, bird's -eye view of all functional branches within the supply chain.Client DetailsThe client is a leading producer of carbon fiber reinforcements and resin systems, and the world leader in honeycomb manufacturing for the commercial aerospace industry.DescriptionThis role will report to the Senior Vice President, ISC and will be responsible for organizing and streamlining ISC staff activities in the pursuit of improved safety, quality, procurement, and operational initiatives across Hexcel. This role may be located in any of the following regions of the U.S. Western, Southeast, and Northeast.In this role you will--- - Support the SVP of ISC through optimizing metric and reporting views for future opportunities.
- Responsible for ISC Management Operating System and its optimization to strike the right balance between tactical and strategic objective reviews.
- Responsible for converting all plants to a set format and metric view for Site Reviews.
- Support the VP of Ops positions and learn from their different leadership approaches and how they assess plant performance.
- Travel globally with the SVP of ISC for MOS optimization and follow up of actions assigned.
- Lead Kaizen events several times annually for both financial benefit as well as for development of using the Kaizen approach to rapid achievement of results.
- Will own the completion of the monthly ISC performance review deck as well as the Annual Strategy Planning Presentation
- Executing special projects at the direction of the SVP ISC
- Work closely with the SVP and ISC leadership team, you will have an opportunity to travel up to 50% of the time (domestic and international).ProfileWhat you will gain in experience:
- You will develop a strong understanding of all functional branches of ISC and how their metrics and goals direct tie to overall performance.
- In addition, this position will gain direct development, coaching, and support from global ISC Leadership team as part of succession planning.Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus but not required.
- A minimum of 7 years of operations leadership experience with increasing responsibility.
- Desire to become a plant manager with the ability to relocate in the future.
