Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant, Reading, PADates: ASAP to OngoingRate: Negotiable (tell us your rate)Details:Provide cardiac thoracic services in a community hospital and corresponding clinic.Efficient surgical skills required for CVOR and vascular surgery.Must be independent with endoscopic and vessel harvesting including radial.Key procedures include CABG EVH, open vessel harvesting, TAVR, TACR, Vascular surgery, ECMO.Assists with patient positioning, skin preparation, and draping.Assist the surgeon with surgical procedures including wound exposure, closure, tissue handling, suturing, and operating complex surgical equipment.Perform endoscopic or open vessel harvesting, arterial and venous line insertion.Participate in preoperative care and workup of patients.Provide postoperative care, make routine rounds, and participate in Quality Programs.Requirements:Must be licensed in PA.Board eligibility required.Clean history.BLS certification required.Scheduled Clinical Hours plus Call coverage.Admissions are required.This position demands a skilled professional capable of performing complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures independently and efficiently in a high-stakes environment.Experience with atrial vein harvesting More...
