Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers with a friendly, welcoming approach & assist with their meat orders
- Accurately process orders, ensuring highest quality, correct quantity and price
- Engage customers with suggestive selling to promote products and drive sales
- Handle returns and exchanges according to store procedures
- Cut and grind meat to meet Boyer's standards of excellence
- Keep display cases full, clean, and attractive while rotating stock
- Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and safe for sale
- Maintain a clean, organized department, adhering to food safety & sanitation procedures
- Follow all store and department policies to ensure quality and safety
- Work closely with the Meat Manager to meet dept. goals and maintain operations
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support department success
Essential Qualifications/Skills: - Food Prep Experience Preferred
- Ability to read, write, and do basic math
- Strong attention to detail, including smell, sight, and color recognition
- Clear communication skills and excellent customer service
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with precision
- Safety-conscious, with the ability to work efficiently & safely in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
