What You Bring: - Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Proficiency in R and solid knowledge in Python or other coding languages such as Java/C#/C++ /Scala.
- Solid knowledge in mathematics and statistical methods, with coursework or experience in fields of mathematics, such as probability, mathematical statistics, applied mathematics, data science, algorithms, advanced calculus and linear algebra.
- Good analytic and creative problem-solving skills.
- Good algorithmic thinking, ability to design and implement complex processes.
- Eagerness to learn from experienced data scientists and a growth mindset focused on continuous improvement and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn cloud environment (preferably Microsoft Azure), Big Data technology, new cutting-edge data science techniques/technologies (H2O, Azure Databricks) etc.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with SQL is a plus.
