Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Line Cook to join our team at Wild Dunes Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Banquet/Restaurant Chef and Sous Chef.Key Responsibilities - Sanitation and Quality Control: Oversee the sanitation of kitchens during and at the end of shifts, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
- Menu Development and Execution: Assist in the development and execution of menus, including recipe development, cost control, and quality assurance.
- Staff Training and Development: Develop and implement staff training manuals and memos to ensure our team members have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional presentation and quality.
- Inventory Management and Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, control waste, and ensure all requisitions are processed properly.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with our culinary team to ensure seamless service delivery, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.Requirements
- Education and Experience: High school education required, with at least one year of kitchen/prep experience or one year of culinary school.
- Language Skills: Must be able to speak, write, and understand English.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.Working Conditions
