Culinary Supervisor Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Culinary Supervisor is a key member of the Wild Dunes Resort culinary team, responsible for overseeing the production and execution of food products, as well as supervising the culinary team in the absence of the Sous Chef.Key Responsibilities: - Food Production: Assist in the preparation and daily production of restaurants, room service, and outlet menus.
- Team Supervision: Supervise the kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef, ensuring that all culinary staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain ingredients, supplies, and equipment to ensure that high-quality, consistent food products are produced.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that resort, state, and federal food health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Leadership: Demonstrate leadership skills, motivating and guiding the culinary team to achieve exceptional results.
- Flexibility: Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.Requirements:
- Culinary Experience: Previous culinary experience is required, with a strong background in food production and team leadership.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to walk, climb into and out of, and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing. Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull, and carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
