- Patient Evaluation: Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities to develop customized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement therapeutic exercises and treatments to help patients regain strength, mobility, and overall physical function.
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team-including physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists-to ensure a cohesive and effective patient care approach.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes.
- Patient & Family Education: Provide patients and their families with guidance on exercises and techniques to continue rehabilitation beyond discharge. Qualifications:
- Experience: Inpatient experience is required.
- Licensure: Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in South Carolina or a valid compact license.
