Position Description Landmark Construction is seeking to add an experienced HR professional to our growing team. This will be a contract-to-hire role in our growing Columbia, SC office. As the sole HR representative for this branch, you will have the opportunity and challenge of aligning HR and business practices while embedded within a team of top-notch operational professionals. In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For - Supporting the strategies, growth, and performance of the department by aligning and executing appropriate HR and talent management activities
- Providing coaching and feedback to managers
- Facilitating the execution of annual and ongoing organizational and talent processes (onboarding, compensation, planning, talent reviews, performance management, etc.)
- Working with leaders and employees to resolve employee relations matters related to performance, compliance, and behavior
- Partnering with leadership to build and sustain an inclusive, values-driven workplace culture that reflects Landmark Construction's company values and vision.
- Enabling organizational change management efforts related to strategy, structure, and technology
Position Requirements What You'll Need - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience in a variety of functional HR areas (talent development, talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, organizational development, etc.) preferred, with greater depth in one or more of these areas required
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Construction or Heavy Industry Human Resource Management Experience
- Basic critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.What Will Set You Apart
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP Certification Preferred
- Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business or Organizational Development
- Multi-Site management
