Provides first aid treatment (dressing changes, etc).Prepare medication listing for physician. - Reviews listing at each visit to ensure accuracy.Contacts physician offices for charts and referrals and radiology centers for reports.Maintain patient charts; completes disability forms upon request and maintains HIPPA documents.Maintains proper inventory and removes expired medications and orders supplies.Maintains biohazard waste logs to ensure compliance with waste disposal.Performs other duties as assigned by Clinical Services Coordinator, Physician and/or Manager.Physical Requirements:Physical requirements are primarily related to the essential functions of any job. - In order to perform the essential functions of this position, you must be able to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear; close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less). May be exposed to blood, body fluids or tissue as defined by Blood Borne Pathogen Control Plan. Must be able to lift and carry up to 24 pounds occasionally.Mental Requirements:Able to read and interpret business or safety manuals, clinical or technical procedures or regulations, write reports, correspondence and/or manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, patients, families, other employees and medical staff.
