- As a RN - Resident Care Supervisor in Long-term Care, delegate, communicate, and supervise CNAs and Nurses at the direction of the Director of Nursing.

- The RN - Resident Care Supervisor is accountable for coordinating resident care from pre-admission to post discharge for residents on assigned neighborhoods of the facility.
- Supervises nursing staff, coordinates the completion and submission of the MDS, and coordinates and develops residents/tenants plans of care.
- Determines and coordinates Medicare eligibilities.
- Demonstrates leadership to other staff members, coaches, assists in supervision and evaluation of nursing staff.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department. Education and/or Experience
- Associate's Degree is required.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Experience in dealing with the public and clients is required.
- Geriatric, medical or surgical experience is preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
