Avera is currently seeking RN - Diabetes Management Educator!

Position Highlights:

Job Summary
The Diabetes Management Educator provides individual and group diabetes self-management education, conducts community and health professional education related to diabetes, and serves as a resource for the nursing staff relative to diabetes education and basic nursing care of the diabetes patient.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
Experience in diabetes inpatient care and/or diabetes education preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required. -
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, on-call one wknd/month; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. -
$26.25 - $39.25 per hour
