Job Summary
Provides professional nursing information to patients per telephone.
Triages phone calls from patients. -
Transcribes information given to patients on a telephone to the medical record. - Presents that information to provider.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. -
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
Education and/or Experience
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
A minimum of two years of nursing experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
CPR required.
ACLS recommended.
Work Schedule
Day Shifts: Monday-Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. -
$20.75 - $29.25 per hour
