  Job Details
  • General job duties include performing nursing cares for laboring patients, post-partum patients, and all general medical patients.
  • Utilizes Epic and Omnicell equipment.
    Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years OB and MS experience, preferably all in a CAH.
    • Active SD or compact state RN license.
      Schedule Information
      • Every other weekend and holiday, 12 hour shifts, 36 hours a week.
      • OT is not required, but may be offered.
        Unit Specific Information
        • Nurse to patient ratio in OB is 1:1 or 1:2 depending on progress of labor.
        • General medical is 5:1 or 6:1 depending on acuity.
        • Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs.
        • Orientation may be difficult in OB as during those 3 shifts we may not have a patient.
