    Job Requirements
    • Requested Skill Set: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, ICU experience
    • Advanced skills needed: Procedures performed on unit include insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions
    • Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
    • Dress Code: Navy scrubs, tops and bottoms
    • Must have an Active RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, and ICU experience
      Schedule Information
      • Scheduling requirements: Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Schedule is done in 4 week increments. Self-scheduling to an extent. Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule
      • Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. If staffing need is in med/surg, contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment

        • Number of Beds: 16
        • Patient Ratios: 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing
        • Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Unit secretary staffed during dayshift. Occasional nurse extern working as a tech
        • Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000
        • Documentation system: Meditech
        • Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members
