A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist (Contract) to ensure patient access to a virtual cardiac rehabilitation program by verifying insurance coverage and eligibility.



Key Responsibilities

Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits for cardiac rehabilitation services
Determine and document patient financial responsibility, including copays and deductibles
Support the billing department with necessary documentation for claims submission



Required Qualifications

Knowledge of insurance plans, terminology, and prior authorization processes
Strong understanding of medical coding and billing practices (CPT, ICD-10 codes)
2 years' experience in insurance verification and patient benefits
