Job Description This role is responsible for providing project controls support to program and project leadership in one or more of the areas of planning and scheduling, cost, estimating, and change management/trends across a variety of programs/projects. This role documents and captures the project plan developed by program/project leadership, monitors and measures performance against the plan, and reports on key data metrics back to program/project leadership. Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities - Provide project controls support to project teams.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring accurate timelines and resource allocation.
- Support program/project leadership in collecting progress and performance updates and updating schedules to reflect actual progress and changes.
- Track and monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts for assigned program/projects.
- Prepare cost reports and financial analyses.
- Help identify project risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.
- Maintain risk registers and ensure timely updates.
- Create and distribute project status reports and performance dashboards to program/project leadership.
- Support the development of project metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track progress and performance.
- Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
- Lead the execution the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, without close supervision and complete latitude for independent judgment.
- Own and lead groups within the department by holding team members accountable to meeting team expectations and defined outcomes.
- Provide feedback and guidance to more junior team members with the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document.
- Based on assigned project, could review estimate work products and supporting documents to ensure accuracy.
- Author, define, and review and revise department process assets.
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across several diverse construction disciplines.
- Serve as team expert regarding industry best practices and standards and train other team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Profile Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in management, business, project management, or related field is required.
