Job SummaryChildren's Memorial Hermann TMC is seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab RN to fill the Clinical Coordinator position.Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct all activities between the interdisciplinary team to ensure efficient departmental throughput and positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with ancillary departments to ensure proper turn-around times and resolve problems.
• Act as a liaison between departmental staff, medical personnel, patients, and family members to address patient care concerns and issues.
• Conduct daily leadership rounding on assigned unit to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment to solve problems and escalate issues as necessary.
• Facilitate resolution to patient problems and concerns, ensuring appropriate service recovery.
• Act as a mentor and coach to assigned staff, providing input into their annual performance reviews.
• Participate in ongoing evaluation of programs and process improvement to optimize patient-centered outcomes.
• Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies and procedures.
• Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory education and skills competency.

  • 10 years of nursing experience in the area of specialty.
  • Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
