Position Reports To: Program Manager (Onsite/District Administration) Overtime Status: Non -Exempt Salary Range: $50.00 -$60.00 per hour Speech Language Pathologist Key Responsibilities: - Initial Referrals, Assessments, and Evaluations: Conduct compliant, dynamic assessments that support educational decision making and eligibility within required timelines,
- Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team on schedules, plans, and appropriate activities
- Consultation and team support: Consult with team members and families to maximize generalization of skill sets.
- Data Collection, Documentation: Maintain thorough, timely records of student progress toward goals including therapy notes, billing, assessments, and progress monitoring systems.
- Developing Individual Education Programs: Develop and maintain compliant IEPs within the required time parameters, facilitate IEP meetings with required team members.
- Participation in Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation Teams: Conduct observations, referrals, timely completion of evaluation reports that are compliant, and support eligibility.
- Supervision of Speech Language Pathologist Assistant: Monitor and maintain documentation of supervision hours, review schedule, activities, documentation, promote and support ongoing professional development of SLPA.
Required Skills and Qualifications - Licensure: Texas Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- (Where applicable) Department of Education Certification as Speech Language Pathologist
- Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card)
- TB Clearance
- Eligibility to work in the US
