- Prospect new customers and close sales for an assigned geography and/or for leads assigned as part of a pooled resource group.
- Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer.
- Validate customer needs, shape product plans and drive deals to close. Support in developing and executing territory growth strategies.
- Focus on new logo acquisition and mid-contract upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Possess core knowledge across products within the subsegment, and engage Sales Specialists where deep product expertise is required to drive to close.
- Understand specific customer archetypes and needs which are most prevalent within the subsegment and territory.
- Use an automated and insight-driven Salesforce workflow to progress deals.
- KPIs include: Nurturing opportunities and moving more complex sales to close i.e. New logo sales & Existing 'non' named' account incremental sales.
- Work with internal resources to lead, advance and close sales cycles.
- Positively contribute to the company culture and add to the team dynamic.About YouYou're a fit for the role of Associate Sales Executive if your background includes:
- Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in an Account Executive role with proven/consistent track record of quota attainment.
- Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations.
- Strong prospecting and closing skills.
- Ability to win new customers as well as cross sell/upsell existing customers.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation.
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude.
- Continuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitude.
