-Job Title: -Senior Scientist, Project Engineering -Job Code: -17220 -Job Location: Greenville, Texas - (Responsibilities must be performed on-site.) -Job Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule - (Every other Friday is a non-workday.) -Job Description: - -The VIP/SAM Group (VSG) Strategy Development engineer is responsible for ensuring that the program team is aligned/positioned for continued growth within the existing Customer/User community for Executive Airlift and adjacent Customers, leveraging the proven capabilities that exist today. - In addition, the VSG Strategy Development engineer will perform the essential functions listed below.Essential Functions: Develop and implement technical strategies to enhance our product offerings in the Executive Airlift businessLead cross-functional teams in the assessment and integration of new technologies into existing product linesConduct technical market analysis to identify emerging technologies and potential partnerships or acquisitionsProvide technical expertise in the development of proposals and presentations to clients and stakeholdersServe as single point-of-contact between Engineering development programs and IRAD team to ensure ongoing alignmentWork with Chief Engineering Organization staff and Program Management to develop tactical and operational plans and goals for VSGManage & execute a 5+ year strategy plan with minimal oversight or direction -Job Qualification Requirements: - -Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience. -Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (SCI) security clearance with the ability to maintain, which requires U.S. Citizenship.Established leadership relationships with existing Customer/Users (Big Safari, Presidential Airlift Group, 89th Airlift Wing, Air Mobility Command, etc.) and partners (Boeing, Viasat, SpaceX, etc.)Demonstrated promotion of open and productive collaboration and teamwork across multiple functionsUnderstanding of entire program/engineering life cycle phases and how funding is establishedSLC3S-A mission communications architecture experienceExtensive knowledge of airworthiness, FAA & military certification processes -Preferred Additional Skills:Clearances/credentials that allow for ready access to offsite Executive Airlift and Air Mobility Command customers & aircraftChief Engineering Organization and/or Functional Management leadership experienceProven experience with executive-level interactions and communicationKnowledge of coordinating cross-functional Agency customers and international partnersExperience working with a major aircraft OEM/prime - More...
