We are seeking a Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

Primary Responsibilities:



• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners. -
  
• Provides information to consumers about medications and their use. -
  
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service. Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy. -
  
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy. -
  
• Travel up to 75%
  
• Float Pharmacist will cover pharmacist shifts during times of surrounding pharmacy site manager PTO.

  • BS Pharmacy or Pharm D
    
  • Current pharmacist's license in the state of Texas
    
  • Certified immunizer of willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
    
  • Valid Drivers License
    
  • Reliable Transportation
