The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data analytics and AI strategies to optimize our energy systems, improve operational efficiency, and deliver new capabilities. This role will be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey, leading a team of data scientists and AI specialists to harness the power of data and AI for strategic decision making and predictive analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI algorithms and a deep understanding of the energy industry.Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement a comprehensive data analytics and AI strategy that aligns with our business objectives.2. Lead a team of data scientists and AI specialists, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality output and continuous skill development.3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.4. Develop and implement advanced analytics models and AI algorithms to optimize energy systems and improve operational efficiency.5. Manage and optimize data systems, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance.6. Translate complex data and AI concepts into actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders.7. Stay abreast of latest developments in data analytics and AI, and drive innovation in our data and AI capabilities.8. Measure and report on the effectiveness of data analytics and AI initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement.Qualifications:1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A master's degree or PhD will be an added advantage.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analytics and AI leadership role, preferably in the energy industry.3. Extensive experience in developing and implementing AI algorithms.4. Strong knowledge of data analytics methodologies and tools, such as Python, R, SQL, and Hadoop.5. Proven experience in managing and leading a team of data scientists and AI specialists.6. Excellent understanding of the energy industry, including key challenges and opportunities.7. Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate complex data and AI concepts into actionable business insights.8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.9.
