What You'll Do You'll perform light-duty work as an intermediate-level auto tech. You'll improve your skills in a supportive environment. Other responsibilities include: - Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
- Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs, and vehicle inspection.
- Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement, and testing and repairing of starting and charging electrical systems.
- Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections , and interior/exterior components.
- Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering, and suspension systems.
- Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system.
- Perform maintenance on equipment.
- Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts.
- May up fit new vehicles with the necessary equipment
- Complies with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash.
Who You Are You're a quick learner - especially when it comes to cars and how they work. You're a team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work. You also have the following qualifications: Required: - Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required
- 1 or more years of related work experience.
- The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
