A company is looking for a Research Senior Technician to assist with Lake Erie fisheries research and assessment.



Key Responsibilities

Conduct field surveys and collect biological and physical/chemical samples
Supervise and train less experienced colleagues in sample collection and processing
Design and implement fisheries research projects, including data collection and statistical analyses


Required Qualifications and Education

Bachelor's degree in Fisheries, Aquatic Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
Two years of fisheries sampling and vessel operating experience
Experience using and maintaining fisheries sampling equipment
Basic statistical and data management skills
