In this strategic role, you will spearhead our business development initiatives, drive commercial growth, and play a pivotal part in shaping the company's future. You will lead the commercialization of our technology, build and maintain high-level commercial relationships, and develop comprehensive strategies to expand our market presence. This role will be varied as company needs change; you can expect to be adaptive and proactive.Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry players and decision-makers
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and revenue streams
- Oversee complex customer projects, ensuring seamless coordination between technical, operations, and executive teams
- Collaborate with C-suite to define and implement company-wide growth strategies
- Drive innovation in our business models and commercial approaches
- Represent the company at industry events and negotiationsQualifications
- Proven track record in business development, with 10+ years in the mining industry
- Extensive experience in the mining and mineral processing industry is required
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic business plans
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close high-value deals
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and ability to identify emerging trends
- Advanced project management skills, including experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities
