Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education/Resource Specialist to join our Labor & Delivery team at Memorial Hermann TMC. This role is vital for supporting our nursing staff and enhancing the quality of care for our patients. Key Responsibilities: --- Support the antepartum, Labor & Delivery, and OR units by onboarding new graduate nurses and providing ongoing education. --- Develop and implement educational plans tailored to staff needs. --- Collaborate with nursing leadership to promote best practices and continuous improvement in patient care. Qualifications: --- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) --- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery, with some leadership experience (e.g., preceptor, charge nurse). --- Certifications: o Required: Fetal Monitoring Certification, RNC-OB (must be obtained if not currently held) o Preferred: Inpatient certification What Sets Us Apart: Memorial Hermann TMC is a Level IV center specializing in high-risk patients and complex maternal and neonatal care.
