Staff Accountant needed for a growing construction company located in Southwest Houston!

Focus includes:
- Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis, review corporate balance sheet accounts, and prepare monthly internal management reports for the company.
- Review credit card transactions, ensuring proper coding and assessing the appropriateness of activities.
- Handle the monthly closing process, including related journal entries.
- Support the review of job cost activities to ensure accurate and consistent coding.
- Prepare monthly depreciation and amortization journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of company financial statements and reports.
- Contribute to financial analysis by evaluating variances against budget and/or prior year performance.


Targeting candidates with:
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role with strong analytical skills
- Software savvy, Procore experience required, strong Excel required
- Natural people person, detail oriented, enjoys research, proactive in nature and solutions driven
- Offering $38- 43/hr depending on experience
