*IR Centers at Urology Austin* is a Multidisciplinary Private Practice looking to add to our team in Austin, TX. We are an outpatient-based IR center performing minimally invasive endovascular procedures for the treatment of several conditions opening in _*September 2024*_. This is an excellent opportunity for an MA to be a part of our growing team in a brand new facility.As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our outpatient center. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.Responsibilities* Interview patients and document basic medical history* Take vitals and document findings in the patient chart* Organize, authorize and schedule appointments for referrals* Send prescriptions electronically or by fax.
