If you want to help a veteran approach their final days with courage and dignity, please reach out to us today regarding this incredible opportunity.TRAININGPotential volunteers must complete a background check, attend a 30-45 minute initial meeting, attend a 5-6 hour orientation, drug screen, and a two-step tuberculosis test prior to volunteering.TIMEYour schedule is up to you! Most volunteers serve between 1 to 4 hours per week.LOCATIONIf you'd like to be a veteran-to-veteran patient companion volunteer, we will match you with a veteran who lives in or around your community. We only ask that you share your time with our patients and families.
